Hi everyone...
So let's get right down to it. This is my life--my actual life. Who cares, you ask? Well, me, obviously. And you, if you're reading this. Other than that I have no idea.
Let's just say I'm in a 'transitional period' in my life right now.

It's off to Palm Springs this weekend for a good friend's bachelorette, then on to Chicago (I've never been!) for a wedding, then another wedding in SF, and then it's Halloween--God knows where I'll be...

I have the tendency to just pick up and go on a whim. Although this does prove difficult when one is not independently wealthy, I manage to find ways. My passions are traveling, designing (painting, drawing, graphic design), and writing. I figure if I send those feelers out into the universe over and over every day, I'll eventually find some way (or a way will find me) to be paid for doing all of the things I love.

Aw, I really AM the wishful thinker....and oh how I love that song! (by Go West from Pretty Woman) But it's not wishful, actually. It's more of an 'optimistic' thinking.

As for the title of my blog--its the title of a short story from one of my favorite authors, Ray Bradbury. The man is truly a genius. As is Dr. Seuss. :) Anyway, I'll explain the content of the story in a future post. That's all for now.
